Biofiller is made entirely from your own blood. We draw a small sample, process part of it into an albumin-PRF gel, and recombine it with liquid PRF to create a soft, injectable 'bio filler.' There's no synthetic product involved.

Traditional fillers are manufactured (usually hyaluronic acid) and last longer. Biofiller is 100% autologous and synthetic-free, with the added benefit of growth factors — but it is absorbed faster and is a newer technique. Because biofiller comes from your own blood, the risk of allergy or rejection is very low. As with any injectable, temporary swelling, bruising or tenderness can occur. It's a point-of-care procedure performed after a consultation and health review.

Hyaluronic-acid fillers are well-documented in case reports and reviews to occasionally migrate — small amounts of product can move along tissue planes and form delayed lumps or nodules months, and in some cases years, after the original injection (the tear-trough and lip areas are most often described). Because biofiller is your own platelet-rich fibrin and is gradually resorbed by your body, there is nothing left long-term to migrate, encapsulate or persist. That makes it a thoughtful choice when long-term migration is a concern — with the trade-off that results last only a few months.

Both come from your own blood, but they're processed differently. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a thinner liquid spun with an anticoagulant and is used mainly to refresh skin quality, not to add structure. Biofiller is PRF-based (platelet-rich fibrin), processed without anticoagulants so a fibrin scaffold forms — part is gently warmed into a thicker albumin-PRF gel that can add soft volume while releasing growth factors slowly over several days. You'll often notice some soft volume right away, but the regenerative benefit builds gradually as the growth factors do their work — many clients see continued improvement over about four to six weeks. Because the effect is subtle and naturally absorbed, biofiller is usually done as a short series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, then refreshed over time. It can help some people, but it depends on what's causing the circles. Biofiller adds gentle volume and delivers growth factors that may improve skin quality in the thin under-eye area, which can soften the look of hollows and shadows. It won't reliably erase pigment-based or purely genetic dark circles — the evidence there is limited — so we'll assess your under-eyes and tell you whether biofiller, another option, or a combination makes the most sense.

Because biofiller relies on the health of your own blood, it isn't right for everyone. It's generally avoided with certain blood or platelet disorders, active infection, or some other significant medical conditions, and it may not be suitable if you take blood thinners or have unrealistic expectations.
