Typically little to none. Your skin looks immediately brighter and more hydrated, and there’s no peeling, so you can apply makeup and return to your day right away. Brief, mild warmth or pinkness is normal and settles quickly.

It can help with mild congestion, blackheads and oiliness — the deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation and gentle suction extraction clear out pore-clogging oil and dead skin, and we can tailor the serums for breakout-prone skin. It complements a dedicated acne plan beautifully. For persistent or cystic acne we'll pair it with, or point you toward, our IPL acne clearance.

They solve different problems. A HydraFacial is a glow with typically little to no downtime — great for dullness, congestion and event-ready skin, repeated regularly. Microneedling works deeper to rebuild collagen over a series, targeting texture, enlarged pores and acne scars, with a little social downtime. Many guests use HydraFacials for upkeep and microneedling for longer-term remodeling. We’ll help you choose at your consultation. Individual results vary.

The fresh, hydrated look is at its brightest in the first days after your visit. Skin keeps renewing itself, so we suggest a visit every month to six weeks to keep it looking that way — the rhythm our packages are built around. Individual results vary.

It's one of our most popular pre-event treatments because you walk out glowing, with no peeling and typically little to no downtime. We usually suggest booking it a few days ahead — roughly 3 to 7 days before — so any brief pinkness has settled and your skin is at its freshest on the day, rather than the morning of. If it's a milestone event, a session or two in the weeks leading up to it helps your skin look its very best.

The cleansing, exfoliation and hydration steps are gentle and non-heat-based, but skin can be more reactive during pregnancy and not every serum ingredient is well studied for it — so guidance generally leans cautious. Please check with your OB or provider first, and let us know you're pregnant or breastfeeding when you book. If you've been cleared, we'll customize your session, skipping ingredients like retinoids and certain acids and keeping everything gentle.

Signature is $250 (45 minutes), Sculpt is $300 (50 minutes) and Ultimate is $420 (60 minutes) at DK Aesthetics in Highland Park. Enhancements — dermaplaning, extended red LED light therapy or décolleté — are $50 to $75 each. Packages of 4, 6 or 12 sessions lower the per-session price by 10 to 20 percent.
